As autumn has already come to Poland and we have everywhere around us gold falling leaves I decided to make something seasonal.

My idea to spend lazy non-trade Sunday was making pumpkin tart, which spread in my apartment beautiful fragrance of warming spices.




Mix flour, butter chunks, yolk and sugar together by hands. Then put to the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

Afterwords fill bottom and edges of mold and bake 15 min in 200 Celsius degrees (390 F)


Mix pumpkin puree with evaporated milk, sugar, cloves and cinnamon.

When shortcake is cooled down, put prepared puree on surface and bake together 45 min in 175 degrees of Celsius (350 F).


Tip:  it goes well with good film and coffee.

It tasted even better after long walk along the sea 🙂
